Forum Theatre Facilitator

Theatre of the Oppressed / Social Change

As a Forum Theatre Facilitator, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where participants can actively engage with social issues through performance. My approach centers on empowering individuals to explore real-life challenges collaboratively, with topics including children's rights, bullying, adolescent struggles, social oppression, and gender issues.

Together with participants, we create scenes based on diverse experiences, ensuring a safe space to experiment with different perspectives. In addition to verbal expression, we have explored using masks and purely physical movement to provide audiences with an additional layer of engagement and reflection.

I also participate in workshops for community members and parents, offering them a broader perspective to reflect on these issues. Through mutual exchange, we aim to achieve collective insights and foster a deeper understanding of the themes discussed.

My passion lies in using theatre as a tool for social change. By inspiring participants to reflect on their beliefs and actions, we facilitate meaningful discussions that lead to actionable solutions within their communities.
